&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m trying so hard to go with the flow.. But I am still recovering so it&amp;#8217;s not easy. Literally knowing that I&amp;#8217;m gaining weight on purpose is tricky. Not to mention the bloat and being physically uncomfortable.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Don&amp;#8217;t let anyone fool you, competition prep is just as much of a mental progression as it is physical. That&amp;#8217;s why I plan on journaling a lot, meditating and doing some yoga through this process.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m in this for the long haul! I&amp;#8217;m in it to win it and in it to fix my body and metabolism! This is for the best even if its hard right now. &lt;p&gt;I mean, NOTHING ever goes right for me or comes easy. I&amp;#8217;ve literally had to work my ass off for everything in my life. I&amp;#8217;m doing much better in my recovery, I actually love my body. I&amp;#8217;m doing my first fitness competition with an amazing coach who is a pro in the industry. I&amp;#8217;ve had serval coaches contact me who want to help me get to the WBFF stage because they see such great potential (very humbling). I&amp;#8217;m glad I picked Nicole though, the woman is a rockstar and an absolute sweet heart. I emailed her last night telling her about my ED- I didn&amp;#8217;t want to&amp;#8230; but I had to (weigh in&amp;#8217;s scare me). She was so encouraging and told me we don&amp;#8217;t have to focus on weight and that she knew I was going to be amazing on stage. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As for other aspects of my life. I transferred to Northeastern University in January- one of the hardest universities to get into in the US. I ended up getting on the Dean&amp;#8217;s List and loving my classes. I&amp;#8217;m getting a bunch of Co-op interviews for my July- December time frame and they seem promising. I also got a part time job at a beautiful and lavish fitness center in Cambridge. The people who work there seem fantastic, my boss is so nice. He also wants to get me certified as a personal trainer ASAP. Which means, I&amp;#8217;d officially be able to take you guys on as clients if you wanted me to (online or in person). &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I joke and tell people that I live a double life, my academic and career goal life and my fitness life. Both seem to be taking off. How is your cut going?</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Hey there! I am 24 weeks out, I don’t start cutting until week 16. Right now I’m eating 5 meals a day with no gluten or dairy. My diet is still pretty strict for being 24 weeks out, but I’m still trying to grow a little bit more with the 9 or so weeks I have left. I train 7 days a week- lifting 6 days and doing cardio 5 days. I shift my cardio days to have one on my rest day (just easy steady state- 45 minutes). I do abs 5x a week too. It’s going well, I’m lucky to have been participating in this lifestyle for almost two years now, so the training and the eating this way are like second nature to me. I think the hardest part for me right now is upping my carbs and doing steady state instead of HIIT. My coach upped my carbs and fat intake. Before, I was eating a high protein low carb diet and it was working really well for me. There’s two types of people, those who work well on high carb and those who don’t (I don’t). I feel sluggish and bloated on more than 70-80 grams of carbs a day. I also have Hypoglycemia so the carbs make me feel like shit with the spike and drop in blood sugar with carbs. I was doing HIIT 5x a week before, but my coach wants me to stop that until week 16. Instead I do 45 minutes of SS cardio in the morning and lift at night. It’s fine, but it’s boring lol.
